MOORGATE CROFT
Moorgate Care Village, just a short distance from Rotherham town centre and very close to Rotherham A & E Hospital, offers the very best care for the elderly and infirm in luxurious surroundings. The homes are surely the finest care homes in the area, boasting the very best facilities all round. All rooms are spacious, with en-suites along with acres of day space. Wide corridors connect all public areas, with a touch of class throughout. There are three care homes within the complex, Moorgate Croft, Moorgate Lodge and Moorgate Hollow. All 3 homes sit comfortably on this picturesque site, with extensive long distance views across Rotherham and the moors of South Yorkshire beyond.

The whole site has a ‘village community’ atmosphere and there are wonderful garden areas, pagodas, patios and decked areas to enjoy, as well as the superb views. All rooms are well above the minimum regulations for room sizes by 25% or more.
Built in the 1990s by a developer who ensured well into the future that the buildings would remain “future proof”, even now one seldom sees homes built to this quality of specification. In terms of facilities offered to our residents, it would be hard to find anywhere better equipped to offer standards of care for the 21st Century.

A residential care home for 31 persons, all in single rooms with en suite shower bathrooms.
We have our own, purpose built detached commercial kitchen to serve the needs of our residents in all three homes. Radically changing the thinking behind the facilities of most care homes, it adds that special hotel feel to the dining experience.
We have dedicated activities co-ordinators for the homes, who never fail to come up with new and exciting ideas to keep home life anything but dull. Obviously, there are the usual activities like Bingo, Cards, Painting, Yesteryear Themes, Raffles, Parties, Singalongs, Summer Fetes, etc, etc, but there are many other innovative and special days and evenings to not only keep our residents happy, we have trouble keeping the staff out too!
We offer a full and comprehensive laundry facility (with the exception of dry cleaning).
