CROSTON PARK

Built in 1663, Croston Park is a beautiful Grade II listed country mansion, full of character that hits you the moment you pass through the listed ruins of its grand archway. Sat in unspoilt conservation land, it enjoys more than two acres of garden and woodland, adjacent to the River Yarrow, in the friendly and ancient village of Croston – midway between Preston, Southport, Wigan and Chorley.

Formerly the private residence of the nearby Church rector, the building’s purpose nowadays is to house a centre of excellence that delivers unrivalled levels of care in the area for elderly people.

Our emphasis at Croston Park is on ensuring our residents feel at home. They are encouraged to bring their own treasured items of furniture, to entertain relatives and guests and to take part in discussions regarding the running of the home. At the same time they, along with their relatives, can have peace of mind knowing that care and support will always be there, whenever it is needed. We want to ensure residents live as fully and happily as possible, whether this be taking part in the wide range of activities at the home, or simply enjoying the delightful surroundings and relaxing in the warm, friendly and safe environment.

The dignity and care given of all of our residents is held above all else, and we recognise that without our wonderful staff team we would never be able to deliver the kind of care we are known for in the area. We have a comprehensive training programme for all staff, and a very capable manager for whom nothing is too much trouble.
